Procrastinator or doer?
Students or in our our case, we can also say Bloggers, often procrastinate and while others may think they are lazy or simply don’t care about their blog/business, research suggests that laziness or lack of caring may not be the key
causes of procrastination.
Procrastination is the act or habit of putting off or delaying a task, especially something requiring immediate attention.
Scientists still do not know its origin but studies suggest the answer could be found in the way the different parts of our the brains are connected and how neurons communicate with one another.
The experts came to a surprising conclusion: procrastination is more about managing emotions than time.
Are you a Procrastinator or doer?
I classify myself as a doer! I am still not sure if this is a good thing, as I want to get stuff done NOW, and will do whatever it takes to get in down ASAP, and not wait another day, and this is especially true and I see
it more and more in myself now that we are moving. We still have 5 weeks to go before the real move date, BUT I want to have all my 'ducks in a row' and not miss a beat, so I have already scheduled 97 posts and am done with all my SM posts up to including end of October to make sure that I can have some downtime once we move to our new place mid September. As my posts are all time sensitive, I have already scheduled posts as far ahead as August 2023.
Yeah, you may say I am nuts, (I will not deny it as I think you're totally
correct) but that's me.
Once I find a post that relevant and will work for the Food and
Beverage Holidays list, I get going and work on it and schedule it together with all the SM and set and forget it. For scheduling my posts, I do use Publer and highly recommend the Business Plan. I have done a lot of research and this is by far the best.
Now come and share your posts at the
Senior Salon Pit Stop Party for this week!
